Body: Little sized


Horns: Both sexes are polled

Tail: Small, thin

Body weight: Adult male 20 kg, female 18 kg

Reproductive traits

Age at first lambing: 1 year

Gestation period: twice a year lambing

Litter size: Twins 80%, triplets 10%

Remarks: Highly prolific and best adapted to coastal region of Odisha.
