Morphological Characters

Body coat: The coat is unlike other donkeys’ it is short and glossy. Coat colour is dark bay with white muzzle

Mophometric traits

Body height at withers: Male 150 cm, female 143 cm

Remarks: It is an agile breed which is large and "horse-like". Today it is used in sport (as a Trotter). It is a brisk and resistant donkey. Historically, it was used for transport, draught, meat, production of mules and sport.
