Morphological characters

Body Plumage: Flat feather. Surface colour in all sections is white.

Skin colour: Black

Combs: Majority have single comb, minority have rose comb. Comb and wattle is freshly red for male and purple-black for female. Many hens have Z-shaped comb.

Limbs/Shanks: Black, free from feather

Toes: Black, free from feather

Morphometric traits

Body weight: Cock 2.1 kg, hen 1.6 kg

Production traits

Egg shell colour: Pale brown-white

Annual egg production (numbers): 150

Weight of an egg: 41.9 grams

Egg shape index: 1.3

Half evisceration rate: At adult is 81% for male and 73% for female

Evisceration rate: At adult is 67% for male and 59% for female

Remarks: Black muscles and bones. Tengchong frozen chickens resistant to crude feed, adaptability, disease resistance and other characteristics of fresh meat. However, the egg-laying species less, in the future should strengthen the breeding, laying improve its performance.
