Body coat: Grey to reddish

Abdomen: Large

Udder: Well developed with prominent milk veins.

Age at maturity: 5-6 years

Breeding age: 6-7 years

Production traits

Daily milk yield: 2-6 kg per day

Milk production per lactation: 1000 kg

Lactation length: 6-10 months

Remarks: They slowly lose weight during the dry season and are relatively resistant to biting flies.
