When a river flows over a ridge of hard rocks, the water spills over the edge creating a waterfall. One of the most famous waterfalls in the world is Niagra Falls on the border of Canada and the United States, it carries water from Lake ‘Erie’ to lake ‘Ontario’. Angel falls in Venezuella has the longest drop in the world, pludging down an amazing 979 meters.
