The Seikan tunnel in Japan is longest and deepest tunnel in the world. It is used as railway track with a length of 53.9 kilometer between islands of Honshu and Hokukaido built 100 meter under seabed of Tsugaru Strait. It was completed and opened in 1988. Longest Land Double Track Railway Tunnel

Hakkoda tunnel in Japan with a length of 26.45 kilometer is the longest land double track railway tunnel in the world. It passes under the Hakkoda mountains and connects Tenmabayashi-mura and Aomori City in Aomori Prefecture in Japan. It was completed in 2005.

Zhongnanshan in China with a highway length of 18 kilometer is the longest double tube four lane highway tunnel in the world. It crosses under Zhongnan Mountain and was completed in 2007. It is also known as Quinling Zhongnanshan tunnel.
